Preview Dinner - An Evening With King John - Visions of the Exhibit (A Short Video)
The Preview Dinner began with an introduction of Jody M. Wagner, Virginia Secretary of Finance, who read a letter of welcome from the Governor if Virginia. Senator Kenneth W. Stolle introduced The Honorable Leroy Rountree Hassell Sr., Chief Justice of the Virginia Supreme Court. Chief Justice Hassell made preliminary remarks followed by an Address. William Campbell thanked the lending institutions and those who helped with the Exhibit and then introduced Rev. Canon Philip Buckler, Dean of Lincoln. William Campbell then introduced Reg Weaver, President of the "NEA" National Education Association.

Opening on March 30, 2007
The Opening on March 30, 2007 began with
remarks from Cameron Kitchin, Executive Director CACV. He introduced Tommy
Reuger, Chairman and CEO of Suntrust Banks Hampton Roads, and Meyera Oberndorf,
Mayor of Virginia Beach. He then introduced the five participants in the Ribbon
Cutting Ceremony: Meyera Oberndorf, Mayor of Virginia Beach, Steve Allnutt,
Mayor of Lincoln, England, Rev. Canon Philip Buckler, Dean of Lincoln Cathedral,
C. Mac Rawls, Chairman of Virginia Beach 2007, Tommy Reuger, Chairman and CEO of
Suntrust Banks Hampton Roads, and William Campbell, Chairman of Contemporary Art
Center of Virginia.
